# Connection Checker

Learn how to use MachineBuilder’s Connection Checker tool to ensure all components in your assembly are properly linked.wq

## **Feature Overview**

Vention assemblies in MachineBuilder rely on preconfigured connection points to hold components together.

Occasionally, components may appear correctly positioned and oriented but remain unconnected. The Connection Checker tool scans your design to establish any missing connections and link the components accordingly.

## **Using the Connection Checker**

1. Select **Check Connections** from the Navigation Bar. The tool will scan your design and automatically create any available connections.
2. A notification window will appear, indicating whether connections were made and displaying the total number of new connections.
3. To view the newly established connections, click the **eye icon** in the notification window. All newly connected parts will be highlighted in white.
