# Copy & Paste

This guide explains how to use the copy-and-paste functionality in MachineBuilder to streamline your design workflow.

## **Copy & Paste Within a Single Design**

1. **Select Parts to Copy:** Highlight all the parts you want to duplicate in your design.
2. **Copy Parts:** Press **Ctrl + C** on your keyboard to copy the selected parts.
3. **Paste at Cursor Location:** Press **Ctrl + V** to paste the copied parts at your cursor’s current location.

## **Copy & Paste Between Designs**

1. **Select and Copy:** Highlight the parts you wish to copy in one design and press **Ctrl + C** to copy them.
2. **Switch Designs:** Navigate to the second design in a different tab within the same browser.
3. **Paste in New Design:** Press **Ctrl + V** to paste the copied parts into the secondary design.
