# How to add Documents

Upload project documents in PDF, PNG, JPG, or SVG format.

## Prerequisites

- Project with editing permissions
- Files in supported formats (SVG, PNG, JPG, PDF)

## Steps to Add Documents

### Step 1: Navigate to Attachments

Click the **"Attachments"** tab in the left sidebar.

### Step 2: Open Upload Dialog

Click **"Add document"** button.

### Step 3: Select Files

- Click "Click to upload" to browse files
- Or drag and drop files into the area

### Step 4: Upload

Click **"Upload"** button to upload selected files.

### Step 5: View Documents

Documents appear in table showing name, type, uploader, and date.

## Managing Documents

### Document Actions

Use three-dot menu to download, view details, or remove documents.

### Supported File Types

- **PDF:** Documents and drawings
- **PNG/JPG:** Images
- **SVG:** Vector graphics

## Permissions

- **Can view:** Download and view documents
- **Can edit:** Upload and manage documents
- **Owner:** Full control

## Troubleshooting

- **File format not supported:** Convert to PDF, PNG, JPG, or SVG
- **Upload fails:** Check connection, try smaller files
- **Can't see documents:** Refresh page, verify permissions
