# How to add project technical specification to a Project

Add technical specifications to document project requirements.

## Prerequisites

- An existing project
- Edit permissions

## Steps to Add Project Specifications

### Step 1: Access Specifications

Click "New" or "Add specification" button in the Specifications section (Overview tab).

### Step 2: Select Category

Choose a category that matches your project type (e.g., Machine Tending, Conveyors, Pick & Place).

### Step 3: Name Specification

Enter a descriptive name for your specification.

### Step 4: Create Specification

Click "Create" to generate the specification form.

### Step 5: View Specification

Specification appears in table showing name, creator, date, and status.

## Managing Specifications

- Add multiple specifications per project
- Click to edit existing specifications
