# How to edit Project details

Edit project name and description.

## Prerequisites

- An existing project
- Edit permissions

## Steps to Edit Project Details

### Step 1: Open Edit Dialog

Click "Edit" button in the Project Details section.

### Step 2: Modify Information

- **Project name (required)**
- **Project description (optional)**

### Step 3: Save Changes

Click "Save" to apply changes or "Cancel" to discard.

### Step 4: View Updates

Success notification appears and project displays updated information.

## Editable Fields

- **Project name:** Required
- **Project description:** Optional

## Read-only Fields

- Creation date
- Project owner

## Notes

- Changes are visible to all project members immediately
- Activity log tracks all edits
- Project URLs remain unchanged
