How to share a project

Share projects with team members via email invitations.

Prerequisites

  • An existing project with sharing permissions

  • Email addresses of team members

Steps to Share a Project

Step 1: Open Share Dialog

Click the "Share" button in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Enter Email and Permissions

  • Enter email address

  • Select permission level (Can view or Can edit)

Step 3: Send Invitation

Click "Invite". The user will appear in the team member list with "(Invited)" status.

Permission Levels

  • Owner: Full control, can manage team members and settings

  • Can edit: Modify content, add items, create quotes

  • Can view: Read-only access

Managing Team Members

To change permissions, click the dropdown next to a team member's name and select the new level. Changes save automatically.

Project Visibility

  • Invitation only: Only invited members can access

  • Team: All organization members can access

Troubleshooting

  • Invite button disabled: Check email validity and your permissions

  • User doesn't receive invitation: Check spam folder or verify email

  • Cannot change permissions: Only owners can modify permissions
